Line 6 HX packs in the same technology found in the award-winning Helix product line. It streamlines the functionality of the kun effects pedals, but still gives you access to 100+ effects covering drives, modulations, reverb, delays, wahs, pitch effects and much more. This technology is perfect for guitarists who don't need Helix guitar/cabinet modeling technology from Helix, but still want to acquire a huge range of sounds to use with their rig.
Performance Enhancing Technology
HX inherits many features from the Helix floorboard. The HX has 6 LED screens with the ability to scribble strips and easily label your FX patches. The footswitches are also surrounded by color-changing LED rings so you can clearly see which effect type you have activated. The footswitches feature touch-capacitive technology, so with the touch of a finger you can instantly access key FX parameters.
More connectivity
HX can become the center of your entire music-making rig. It has stereo inputs and outputs alongside auxiliary jacks and outputs to utilize your own stompbox pedals or allow you to connect to an amp's FX loop using the 4-cable method. The HX also features MIDI in/out, USB connectivity and 2 amp connections to control your amp channel switching. The HX also packs in Impulse Responses, so if you want to make a direct connection to a mixing board or recording device, you can route a signal with IR modeling enabled.
