With Booster Flex it is easy to make 18V from a single 9V connector. It is equipped with a step-up converter in the mold located in the middle of the cable. When you connect Booster Flex to a 9V socket, you get 18V at the other end, which is a type 1 connector - a black 5.5/2.1 mm center negative DC connector. The most common use is for 18V Wah pedals or the larger MXR pedals that need 18V. Keep in mind that the maximum current the Booster Flex can deliver is 50mA.
