Promark Rebound 5B ActiveGrip Clear Acorn Drumsticks are high quality drumsticks from Promark featuring their patented heat activated ActiveGrip coating. These drumsticks are constructed from American Hickory, the most popular wood used in drumsticks due to its incredible resilience and durability, as well as its responsiveness and classic feel. The sticks feature a rebound stick balance that brings gravity back towards the grip. This makes the stick easy to handle during lighter, more technical beats and grooves with the same stick dimensions as the previous model. The sticks feature a reinvented acorn that provides responsiveness and articulation due to the larger sweet spot and the increased amount of contact the tip provides with the drum head. This coating is designed to become stickier as a player's hands sweat and their body temperature warms up the sticks. The coating is applied as a thin coating, much like a traditional lacquer.
