What can a piano bench do that other benches can't?
Many piano benches have space for storing sheet music under the seat. It's very handy to have a fixed place for your sheet music so it doesn't get lost or fly off the piano every time you open the window.
Many piano benches also have adjustable height. Again, this is very handy if you have more than one person playing the piano - or if you're growing up.
If you're on the road with your band, we recommend a bench with a folding frame. But if the piano is firmly planted in the living room at home, you can just as easily choose a bench with a fixed frame. It also looks more like a piece of furniture that belongs in a living room.
