The PRS SE NF 53 is a powerful, modern guitar inspired by classic tones and design. Built with a swamp ash body and a 22-fret, 25.5" scale length bolt-on maple neck and fingerboard, the PRS SE NF 53 embodies the spirit of the electric guitar in a truly timeless way.
The addition of PRS Narrowfield DD “S” pickups delivers plenty of power and musicality without hum, making this guitar distinctly PRS. PRS Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) “S” pickups are constructed with taller coils to accommodate additional windings, along with extra metal pieces between the magnets, resulting in a focused and powerful tone.
The “S” variation of these pickups provides articulate low end along with the growl and twang you’d expect from this instrument—all in a noise-free humbucker format, making it extremely responsive to gain.
Combined with volume and tone controls and a 3-way blade pickup switch, the SE NF 53 allows players to easily dial in their sound. Finally, the steel plate bridge with brass saddles contributes to the PRS SE NF 53’s lively tone and resonance.
