The RGA21P1PB has a body made of American basswood (Lind), which is a relatively light wood with an even frequency response across the entire register. This makes it a wood that is easy to color in many different directions and get many different kinds of sounds out of. The even frequency response also makes it very suitable for distorted sounds, it glues the sound together nicely without it becoming either scattered or unclear.
The top is a curved top of Poplar Burl/Maple/Walnut/Curly Maple/Panga Panga (17 mm top), which differs in appearance between different pieces, no guitars look exactly the same.
The neck is a 5-piece construction of maple and walnut. The neck profile is Ibanez's classic Wizard profile.
The fingerboard has been equipped with Jumbo Stainless frets, which are significantly harder than normal frets, which means that they wear extremely much slower than standard fret bars. They also retain their smooth, supple, "newly polished fret" feel much longer than regular frets.
If you don't play extremely much and tour constantly, they will last a lifetime. They are not indestructible, but very dense.
The neck has also been equipped with side dots from Luminlay, luminescent fret markings. A godsend on dark stages.
The RGA21P1PB features an Ibanez Wizard neck profile. The Wizard can best be described as a slightly thicker Super Wizard neck. It has the same flat fingerboard (400mmR), same width and same well-honed frets as the Super Wizard, but is slightly thicker. A neck for those who want what Ibanez is known for, an extremely fast and easy-to-play neck, but want a little more wood in their hand.
