It features a resonant solid spruce top with “X” top bracing for superior balance and articulation, a solid flame maple back and flame maple sides, and elegant ivory body binding with black and white purfling and mother-of-pearl rosette.
Built with the performer in mind, the P6N features Takamine’s CT4-DX preamp system paired with the unique Palathetic™ under-saddle pickup for peerless amplified response. The dual-channel CT4-DX provides a tone variable from bright and brilliant to thick and warm with the four-band EQ. For possible feedback issues the preamp is equipped two notchfilter and for making sure you are in tune the built in chromatic tuner will become very handy.
