The D-13E Retro Walnut is a fully solid dreadnought from Martin’s Road Series. The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top with walnut back and sides. The D-13E Retro Walnut has a rosette with an abalone pattern and multi-stripe detailing, a Faux Tortoise pickguard, and white body bindings. The body is finished with a beautiful high-gloss lacquer, while the neck has a hand-rubbed satin finish for exceptional comfort.
The D-13E Retro Walnut builds on the popular D-11E model, featuring a solid spruce top and a walnut body that stands out with its beautiful wood grain and bright, clear tone. Like other Dreadnought models in Martin’s lineup, the D-13E Retro Walnut delivers a classic, powerful sound with rich tonality and excellent playability. The Martin Performing Artist neck profile and ebony fingerboard provide modern playability, with a neck that widens as you move up the fretboard.
