The D-13E Retro Walnut builds on the popular D-11E model, featuring a solid spruce top and a walnut body that stands out with its beautiful wood grain and bright, clear tone. Like other Dreadnought models in Martin’s lineup, the D-13E Retro Walnut delivers a classic, powerful sound with rich tonality and excellent playability. The Martin Performing Artist neck profile and ebony fingerboard provide modern playability, with a neck that widens as you move up the fretboard. Additionally, the D-13E Retro is adorned with a beautiful soundhole rosette and white body bindings.
Premium Martin guitars, like the D-13E Retro Walnut, undergo Plek treatment to achieve more consistent playability. Plek Pro is an advanced, computer-controlled process that scans, levels, and dresses the frets so that every note in every position rings out loud and clear with a flawless tone.
Like its siblings in the series, it is equipped with the excellent Martin E1 pickup system, which not only sounds great but also includes a discreet built-in tuner in the soundhole. A Premium Martin Soft Shell Case is also included.
With the Road Series, Martin has successfully created a range of high-quality, all-solid guitars at a price point that makes them accessible to most players.
