The Gibson SJ-200 60s Original continues the legacy of the legendary “King of the Flat-Tops” guitar. The model is inspired by the SJ-200 from the 1960s — the same type of guitar used by major artists like Bob Dylan, George Harrison, and Jimmy Page on some of rock history’s most iconic songs and albums.

The guitar features a beautiful AAA figured maple body, a solid AAA Sitka spruce top, and a classic 1960s-style nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The maple neck has a comfortable rounded profile and a slightly narrower width, making chords easier to play.

It is equipped with a rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl inlays, the distinctive SJ-200 pickguard, and the iconic “Moustache” bridge. Instead of the old Tune-O-Matic bridge, this model uses a bone saddle, which many modern guitarists prefer.

The SJ-200 60s Original also comes with high-quality Grover tuners, a built-in L.R. Baggs pickup system for stage and studio use, and a Gibson hardshell case for safe transport and protection.
