Martin’s renowned X Series has been refreshed, offering an improved visual appeal and significantly enhanced playing comfort.
The D-X2E Mahogany features a solid spruce top, with back and sides constructed from HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) in an attractive new mahogany pattern. The fingerboard, bridge, and neck are crafted from “Select Hardwood.”
The series now features a slimmer neck profile, while both the bridge and fingerboard have been refined with smoother contours. The result is an exceptionally comfortable instrument that is easy and enjoyable to play. In addition, all X Series models are now equipped with Martin’s E1 pickup system, including volume, tone, and phase controls, as well as a built-in chromatic tuner. And, of course, a gig bag is included.
Aesthetically, the updated models also introduce new HPL patterns, a thinner rosette in abalone or herringbone, and a headplate finished in a matching HPL pattern to complement the back and sides.
