The Martin D-X2E Molly Tuttle is directly inspired by Molly Tuttle's own 1943 D-18. It's built around a premium Sitka spruce top, paired with mahogany HPL back and sides, and scalloped X-bracing. A 1941 neck profile and a slim 1.6875" nut are the defining features of Molly Tuttle's own 1943 D-18. An ebony fingerboard with moon phase inlays gives you access to the classic playability that is a hallmark of a Martin guitar. The D-X2E Molly Tuttle also features a built-in Martin E1 pickup.
