The guitar is built with a top, back and sides made of solid Sapele, tonally and visually reminiscent of Mahogany. A classic wood that gives a warm and resonant tone. The entire guitar is discreetly styled with a beautiful multi-stripe rosette and a black pickguard. The body is finished with a beautiful satin finish and the neck has a soft and comfortable hand-rubbed finish.
The built-in Fishman MX-T electronics in the Martin D-10E not only produce kun exceptional amplified acoustic tone, it provides added convenience via the soundhole-mounted tuner. This cleverly placed tuner faces upwards and has an auto-mute function, so you can tune in silence on stage with a perfect line-of-sight view of your voice status for each string.
