VTA-12 Veritas is a complete set of strings for steel-stringed western guitar, in gauges 12 to 54. VTA-12 is made with a round core wire, which is varnished with a special mixture and then wrapped with a phosphor bronze wire. The coating holds the wrapped wire in place and protects the core from corrosion. The result is a string that maintains tone and intonation for longer than conventional strings.
