Ernie Ball Everlast Coated acoustic guitar strings are produced using advanced nanotechnology that is resistant to both moisture and oils. This helps preserve tone and playability for longer compared to uncoated strings.
Ernie Ball’s proprietary treatment is applied to both the inner hex-shaped core and the outer wrap wire, providing maximum protection without compromising tone or feel. Everlast Coated strings are made from 80% copper and 20% zinc wire, wrapped around a brass-coated hex-shaped steel core. The result is a bright, ringing tone with pleasant overtones.
