Ernie Ball Everlast Coated acoustic guitar strings are produced using advanced nanotechnology that is both moisture- and oil-resistant, helping preserve tone and playability longer than uncoated strings. Ernie Ball’s proprietary treatment is applied to both the inner hex-shaped core and the outer winding wire, providing maximum protection without compromising tone or feel.
Everlast Coated strings are made from 80% copper and 20% zinc wire, wrapped around a hex-shaped, brass-plated steel core. The result is a crisp, ringing tone with pleasant overtones.
