The MA540T 3-Pack Authentic Acoustic SP is designed by C.F. Martin & Co. to provide superior tone for your acoustic guitar. These strings are built around a high-strength core wire, combined with a premium-quality winding wire to ensure tuning stability and unmatched tone. This set is wound with 92/8 Phosphor Bronze, producing a broad, full-spectrum, and balanced sound.
Lifespan® 2.0 Coating
The Lifespan® 2.0 coating is an entirely new process that extends string life without compromising tone or tuning stability. Prior to treatment, the strings are identical to the MA540 Authentic Acoustic SP®. They then undergo a process that treats both the core and winding wires, providing maximum protection against corrosion.
String Gauges and Playability
The 12–54 gauge strings of the MA540T 3-Pack are classified as Light strings, ideal for getting the most out of your guitar. Experienced players often prefer heavier gauges for their greater volume and clarity, but thicker strings (12s and 13s) can be tougher on the fingers. Beginners or intermediate players may prefer lighter sets such as the MA530T (10–47) or MA535T (11–52).
