Which string scale length should I choose?
Most electric basses use Long Scale strings, but there are exceptions.
Measure along the bass (when the string is tuned to pitch) from the inside of the ball end to the top of the nut.
- Short Scale: up to 32"
- Medium Scale: 32" to 34"
- Long Scale: 34" to 36"
- Super Long Scale: 36" to 38"
