Which string scale length should I choose?
Most electric basses use Long Scale strings, but there are exceptions.
Measure on the bass side with the string tuned to pitch—the distance from the inside of the ball end to the nut.
• Short Scale: up to 32"
• Medium Scale: 32" to 34"
• Long Scale: 34" to 36"
• Super Long Scale: 36" to 38"
