Which string length (scale) should I choose?
Most electric basses use Long Scale strings, but there are, of course, exceptions.
Measure on the bass side with the string at pitch: the distance from the inside of the ball end to the nut.
• Short Scale: up to 32"
• Medium Scale: 32" to 34"
• Long Scale: 34" to 36"
• Super Long Scale: 36" to 38"
