All of Allround Musik's strings are Electric Nickel Wound, consisting of a steel alloy coated with a layer of nickel. This coating offers several advantages: the strings produce a warm, rounded tone, and they are more resistant to oxidation (rust) than 100% steel strings. Additionally, the coating provides a slightly smoother surface, which reduces finger noise as they move across the strings and minimizes wear on the strings themselves.
