The speaker system, featuring two custom Carl Martin SU65147CM full-range drivers, delivers an open and detailed sound that feels more like a professional mini-PA system than a traditional acoustic combo amp.
Design and finish
The CM Acoustic isn't just built to sound professional—it is designed to look the part, too. Elegant wooden side panels give the amplifier an exclusive, almost furniture-like aesthetic that stands out from typical black plastic and metal boxes. This makes the CM Acoustic feel just as at home on stage as it does in a living room, studio, or rehearsal space. The balanced combination of a black cabinet and warm wood accents creates a timeless, high-end look that complements both modern and classic acoustic instruments.
Inputs and channels
The CM Acoustic features two completely separate and equal channels, allowing you to blend guitar and microphone signals directly within the amplifier.
The instrument channel is optimized for acoustic guitars and other pickup-equipped instruments. It offers gain control, a three-band EQ with adjustable mid-range, a limiter, EQ bypass, volume, and reverb, enabling you to shape everything from warm, rounded tones to clear, assertive live sounds. The microphone channel features a balanced XLR input and supports both dynamic and condenser microphones via built-in +48V phantom power. This makes the CM Acoustic ideal for singer-songwriters, duos, and small bands where vocals and guitar need to blend perfectly.
Both channels are equipped with an overload indicator and a limiter to protect against clipping and ensure a clean, stable signal—even when playing with a wide dynamic range.
Sound and Speaker System
The two Carl Martin SU65147CM 6" full-range speakers were custom-designed for the CM Acoustic, delivering extremely linear and detailed reproduction of both instruments and vocals. Combined with the powerful 300W amplifier, you get plenty of headroom, clarity, and depth—even on larger stages.
The sound preserves the guitar's natural woody tone and attack, while vocals remain clear and distinct in the mix without sounding harsh or strained.
Live features and connectivity
The CM Acoustic is built for real-world live performance. An AUX input allows you to play backing tracks from a mobile phone, tablet, or computer, featuring independent volume control. A phase switch helps minimize feedback in challenging stage environments. Reverb can be toggled on and off via an external footswitch. The balanced XLR output sends your signal directly to a PA system or audio interface, ensuring the front-of-house mix captures the exact sound you hear from the amplifier.
The amplifier can be mounted on standard 35mm speaker stands, allowing for optimal placement at ear level—just like a professional PA system.
