The iD48 uses Dsub connections and has eight fully balanced inserts that allow you to integrate your favorite FX before conversion - providing the cleanest possible signal path. Perfect for voice mixing and print-backs.

And for the first time ever, the iD48's switchable insert routing allows you to choose which source feeds the ADC. This means you can choose whether to send the signal from the Audient Mic Preamp or DAW outputs to your outboard on a per-channel basis, without having to connect or disconnect cables.

Speaker outputs
Connect and listen via the main and alt speaker outputs. Alternatively, use the additional line outputs to send audio to an external headphone amplifier to listen to your artists/musicians.

Headphone outputs
Mix confidently on headphones with two fully independent, high-quality stereo headphone amplifiers. The headphone amplifiers have 124 dB dynamic range and enough power to drive headphones up to 600 ohms.

Configurable monitoring control
Configurable function buttons allow you to assign any of the iD48's powerful listening functions, such as Speaker Select, Dim or Mono Sum, to the two dedicated hardware function buttons.

Talkback
You can take advantage of the iD48's innovative talkback technology to use a USB microphone or your computer's built-in microphone as a dedicated talkback mic, freeing up valuable mic preamps for recording.
