The Martin 000-28EC was created in close collaboration with guitar legend Eric Clapton. The model is based on the traditional short-scale 000-28, but with a distinctive difference: the neck and fingerboard are wider than the standard model.
This makes the guitar exceptionally well-suited for blues, solo, and fingerstyle playing. The rosewood back and sides add warmth and a rich array of overtones, while the Sitka spruce top provides power and ample projection.
A beautiful addition to the model is the golden aged toner and herringbone binding, evoking the classic Martin guitars of the 1930s and 1940s.
