The legend just got better!
After nearly a century at the helm, and as the workhorse of music legends like Hank Williams, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and many many more, Martin's legendary D-28 has been gently and lovingly improved. The new D-28 blends the guitar's rich history with Martin's latest and most talked about innovations. The 184-year-old guitar maker has combined details such as open-gear tuning screws, aging tones, creamy white bindings and a Faux Tortoise pickguard with a new neck profile to give the new D-28 a vintage look while still feeling and playing like a modern guitar. D-28 enthusiasts a modern feel and a comfortable playing experience. The top is solid Sitka Spruce while the back and sides are solid Indian Rosewood (East Indian Rosewood).
Finally, the familiar X-Bracing is now forward-shifted, giving more room for the vibrations in the deck. An excellent upgrade that has certainly earned its place in the history books.
