DENON DJ have taken all their know-how and experience from the larger SC products and crammed it all into the SC LIVE series. With innovative solutions and top-notch mechanical quality, DJing is now even more inspiring.
Built-in speakers
Let's just address the elephant in the room right away; having built-in speakers in a product of this type is controversial. But DENON DJ doesn't do anything by halves, and as always, they've thought it through. When practicing and setting up your sets, it's super convenient not to have to connect an external system, and you don't have to keep your speakers on all the time. It encourages creativity and playfulness, which has always been one of DENON DJ's strengths. The speakers are not made to play loud or replace a booth monitor - they are intended as a tool to help you improve your skills.
Amazon Music
DENON DJ The SC LIVE series is the first on the market to integrate directly with Amazon Music. But of course, you also have access to all the other streaming services like TIDAL, and there are also links to DropBox and other archive services in the cloud. DENON DJ's lightning-fast tempo and pitch scanning algorithms mean you can perform in real-time with brand new material if the task calls for it.
Engine DJ OS
At the heart of all DENON DJ's SC products is the constantly improving and evolving Engine DJ software. This also means that you can take your sets from one SC product to another with a minimum of adjustments. The combination of hardware controls and touch screen makes Engine DJ a breeze to navigate, even when things get busy. Best of all, the software runs on the internal processor of all SC products, so there's no need to connect a computer. But of course you can do that too.
Serato DJ and Virtual DJ
If you come from other systems to the SC series, you can continue where you left off. It supports both Serato DJ and Virtual DJ, so all you need to do is connect your computer and tell the controller which system you're using.
Built for creative mixing
In addition to access to several streaming services, SC LIVE also has 3 Media Slots (including 2x USB ports), so mix'n'match from different media, both physical and over networks, is possible simultaneously. The layout is largely lifted from its big brother SC6000 and the mixer functions are very similar to those found on the X1850 mixer. This means that SC LIVE is very close to delivering the same creative possibilities kun found on flagship products. This includes 4 multi-functional pads per deck with 2 banks (so there are 8 in total), 4 Sweep effects with dedicated activation button per channel and 13 different programmable BPM effects.
SC LIVE 4
With its 4 channels, it's obviously double the power of its little brother. little brother SC LIVE 2. This means you can be even more creative by having samples, acapellas, alternative versions, or anything else ready in the wings, or make mash-ups and beat mixes with extra dimensions. There is full mixer control on all channels, including 3-band EQ, Sweep FX and Beat FX. SC LIVE 4 also has an additional microphone input that can also act as a stereo AUX, so you can connect an additional external audio source compared to SC LIVE 2 and SC LIVE 4. SC LIVE 2.
Dynamic lighting control
Engine DJ fully integrates with Engine Lighting, making it possible to control light sources such as Philips Hue, Nanoleaf and DMX. This allows you to design complete shows where sound and light come together. All without having to read thick manuals or take extra courses in lighting technology.
