Fact: These skins consist of a single layer (thickness 0.188mm) without damping.
Info: This skin provides an open and bright sound with good response. It works well as a pickguard on smaller drums(10" and 12") in particular, giving an open and articulate sound, and as a bottom skin on both drums and snare drums, ensuring good resonance.
The skins work well at both low and medium tuning.
Tip: If you want a deep rumble from the floor tom but a more open sound from the snare drum, it's often a good combination to use single-ply skins on the snare drum and double-ply skins on the floor tom. By the way, single-layer skins should always be used as bottom skins.
