The SR30th4P is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2017 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the series. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line
The SR30th4P features a bubinga top on a chambered double cutaway ash and mahogany body bolted to a titanium reinforced wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with abalone oval position markers (with a dot/oval/dot layout at the twelfth and twenty-fourth frets), and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single pickups, individual Mono-rail V bridges, an Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band equalizer w/mid frequency switch, Gotoh tuning machines and gold hardware. Controls consist of volume, balance, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, mid boost/cut, 3 way mid frequency selector (250hz, 450hz, 700hz).
