Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The AKG Perception 100 is the basic version of AKG’s original Perception series, featuring minimal controls. It has a 2.5 cm center-terminated diaphragm with a fixed cardioid pickup pattern.
The Perception 200 adds a high-pass filter (HPF) and pad to the basic Perception 100 design; otherwise, the sound of the two microphones is likely identical.
