The battery-powered TB-03 is a direct descendant of the legendary TB-303 Bass Line synthesizer. The layout and controls remain unchanged, allowing the instrument to operate just like the original. It also sounds like the original thanks to Roland’s advanced ACB technology, which faithfully recreates the distinctive, hypnotic sound of the iconic silver box.
The TB-03 goes even further, adding new features that were not available on the original model. The 4-digit display makes programming much easier and more precise, while the Overdrive and Delay effects let you hit the audience with a wall of sound. In the studio, the TB-03 can transmit control data via MIDI or USB, with the latter also functioning as a 24-bit/96 kHz audio interface.
