The AKG C151 is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone that delivers precise and detailed sound reproduction. It is specifically designed for instrument recording and ambient sound, drawing on decades of AKG’s acoustic expertise.
The microphone features a precise cardioid capsule and an optimized transformerless FET circuit, providing low self-noise and a wide dynamic range. The result is a clean, well-defined sound, particularly suited for instruments, acoustic recordings, overheads, strings, and percussion.
Like the rest of the C-series, the AKG C151 is designed with sustainability in mind. The microphone body is made from 100% recycled PIR metals and alloys, and both packaging and accessories are developed to minimize environmental impact.
