MDM1300-NAB (Natural Stained Amber Burst) Electric Bass with gig bag, MODE Series.
The MODE series represents the top tier of Ibanez Standard basses, blending a traditional aesthetic with innovative features. With roasted necks, new pickups, and a new preamp/EQ system, every component is of the highest quality.
The pickups are J-style single-coils that deliver a massive, powerful, "full-bodied" sound without sacrificing the clarity characteristic of single-coil pickups.
The EQ system can be engaged or disengaged via a small on/off toggle switch, allowing you to bypass the circuitry entirely and route the pickup signal directly to the output jack. The EQ system features four controls: +/- 12dB boost/cut for bass, +/- 12dB boost/cut for treble (with adjustable Q-factor), and +/- 12dB boost/cut for the crucial midrange frequencies. The setup also includes a master volume control and a blend control to balance the neck and bridge pickups.
It features the MR5S Mono-Rail bridge.
This bridge is designed to isolate the strings from one another. This isolation ensures optimal transfer of string vibrations into the body, preventing the strings from interfering with each other. It is a stable and highly adjustable bridge.
The MODE series offers basses in 4-, 5-, and 6-string configurations.
