The SR is likely the bass model most people picture when someone mentions an "Ibanez bass," and for around 35 years, it has been the market leader among "small-body" basses (basses with smaller, slimmer bodies). They are lightweight, easy-to-play instruments that feel incredibly comfortable to wear and play—perfect for those who play frequently or for long sessions.
The GSR200 is part of the Ibanez GIO series of SR basses.
An instrument doesn't have to cost a fortune to sound great. The GIO series was developed for musicians who want Ibanez's signature playability and feel at an affordable price point. These are exceptional value-for-money instruments that both feel and sound great. Available in various models and finishes, the GIO line consists of simple yet durable guitars and basses that offer quality well beyond that of mere entry-level instruments.
