The GV Series is a line of bass guitars that showcases Markbass' ability to produce high-quality instruments at an exceptional price. This is achieved by carefully evaluating the quality and cost of components and materials from a wide range of suppliers, with a strong focus on delivering outstanding value for money.
The bass neck shares the same characteristics as our JP series instruments, offering inherent playability and comfort. String balance is precise and well-defined, with no booming resonant frequencies—even across the low B string register. Each instrument undergoes rigorous quality inspection in accordance with Markbass’ strict standards at our headquarters in Italy. The Gloxy series of basses receives the same level of care and attention as our more advanced Markbass models.
The Gloxy series is equipped with the same MB Instrument Preamp found in our premium instrument line. This onboard preamp has been designed from the ground up by Markbass to faithfully reproduce the natural tone of your instrument. Changes in output level when switching between active and passive modes are virtually imperceptible—a unique feature of the exceptional circuitry inside.
Simple and ergonomic controls allow you to boost or cut your EQ aggressively without clipping or distorting the signal, even at maximum settings—enabling the MB Instrument Preamp to perform seamlessly in any environment.
