Designed in collaboration with global artist Ed Sheeran, the SE Hollowbody I Piezo Baritone model delivers warmth, depth, and dynamic range, opening up a whole new sonic landscape—from rich acoustic textures to powerful, experimental electric tones of all kinds.
Featuring a maple top and mahogany back, the hollow body utilizes a center-block construction that enhances resonance while providing full control over feedback in live settings. The 27.7” scale length ensures optimal string tension, giving low tunings both weight and definition. Unlike many hollowbody guitars that feature an arched back, this model employs a "Flatback" construction—reminiscent of a traditional electric guitar—making it comfortable and easy to play.
Equipped with PRS 85/15 “S” pickups and a PRS/LR Baggs piezo system, the PRS SE Ed Sheeran offers an impressive sonic palette. Blend the piezo’s acoustic character with electric tones, or use the signals separately for maximum flexibility on stage and in the studio. From rhythm parts and looped melodies to massive baritone riffs, this guitar delivers a rich, articulate sound in any situation.
