With a pronounced musical midrange and exceptional resonance, the SE Custom 22 Semi-Hollow produces a warm and full-bodied tone, making it highly suitable for a wide range of jazz styles. However, a twist of the tone knob lets the two humbuckers hit hard, so the guitar is also more than capable of delivering full-bodied rock ’n’ roll. The beautiful "violin"-profiled flamed maple top, combined with the f-hole, pays homage to classic designs, while PRS’s modern styling signals forward-thinking innovation.

The SE Custom 22 Semi-Hollow is equipped with two 85/15 "S" humbuckers with volume and push/pull tone controls, allowing the pickups to be split into single-coils. The rosewood fingerboard and wide/thin neck profile make the guitar extremely comfortable to play, and the PRS patented tremolo is precise and maintains excellent tuning stability.
