PRS SE NF 53 is a powerful, modern guitar inspired by classic tones and design. Built with a swamp ash body and a 22-fret, 25.5" scale bolt-on maple neck and fingerboard, the SE NF 53 embodies the spirit of the electric guitar in a timeless way.
The addition of PRS Narrowfield DD "S" pickups delivers plenty of power and musicality with virtually no hum, making this guitar unmistakably PRS. The Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) "S" pickups feature taller coils to accommodate additional windings and extra metal pieces between the magnets, producing a focused and powerful tone. The "S" variant provides articulate low end along with the growl and twang you would expect from this instrument—essentially a silent humbucker that is highly responsive to gain.
Combined with volume and tone controls and a 3-way blade pickup switch, the SE NF 53 allows players to dial in their tone easily and intuitively.
