The Custom 24 is the epitome of a Paul Reed Smith guitar. It was the first model Paul brought in the trunk to the NAMM Show in 1985, and it has been one of the company's absolute bestsellers ever since. The SE models are PRS's take on a price-conscious version that retains as much of the magic of the more expensive series as possible. The SE models are produced at PRS' own factory in Indonesia under the same strict quality requirements as at home in Maryland. "08" refers to the two mini-switches that together provide a total of 8 pick-up combinations.
