The AS113 is a semi-hollowbody guitar, through the middle layer, just like you would expect from a good 335th piece guitar. This makes the guitar very insensitive to feedback/looping even at very high volumes. A guitar that works well whether you play it clean or highly distorted and everything in between

  • Description

    The body is built from spruce top with flamed maple on both sides and back, a wood that is both resonant and beautiful.
    The neck is a 3-piece inlaid (glued) Nyatoh/maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard with classic Acrylic/Abalone block inlays, a beautiful traditional look combined with maximum sound characteristics. Medium frets with Artstar Fret Edge Treatment.

    The pickups are a Ibanez Super 58, which combines a soft and nuanced tone with an ability to bite when needed. Works just as well for clean and traditional jazz sounds as for overdriven blues and rock sounds. Here combined with a Tri-Sound switch that allows you to run the throat mic in series*, split** or parallel***.
