RG421 is an RG in the Ibanez Standard series with an oiled mahogany body, so you can see the beautiful grain of the mahogany wood. In addition to being really beautiful, it gives the guitar a nice wooden feel.
The guitar has a Wizard III neck, a slightly thicker version of the popular Wizard profile, also a slightly rounder and softer profile. It also has a radius of 400 mm instead of the 430 mm of the Wizard neck. A great neck for those who want a little more wood in their hands without the neck being thick and stiff. A fast and very easy to play neck equipped with 24 well-polished jumbo frets.
As mentioned, the body is made of mahogany, a very beautiful wood that goes for a slightly warmer and softer tone in terms of sound. The treble is slightly softly rounded, but without losing clarity and separation.
