The D-10E Retro Spruce is a full-solid dreadnought from Martin's Road Series. The guitar is built with solid Sitka spruce tops and Sapele back/sides. A Martin E-1 pickup system makes the D-10E Retro Spruce stage-ready. In addition, the system has a fantastic built-in tuner, discreetly installed in the soundhole. A premium Martin Soft Shell Case is also included.

    The Martin D-10E Retro Spruce is a western guitar that combines Martin's high build quality with modern innovation and sustainability. The guitar is built in a Dreadnought body style, which is popular for its well-balanced tone and powerful volume.

    The guitar is constructed with back and sides in sapele, a wood from Africa known for its rich overtones and warm sound, very similar to mahogany. Sapele contributes a clear, well-defined midrange and a clear, sparkling top that improves when the guitar is played. The spruce top adds projection and articulation, ensuring that the guitar works just as well in the studio as on stage. Scalloped X-bracing further improves responsiveness and gives the guitar a wider dynamic range.

    The neck of the D-10E Retro Spruce is shaped for a comfortable playing experience, and it is built with a hardwood fingerboard, which is a durable and environmentally friendly material. The guitar also features a Martin E1 pickup system, which provides a clear and natural amplified tone for performance or recording. The pickup system features a built-in tuner that is hidden when not in use to maintain the guitar's clean and minimalist look.
