The D-10E is a solid dreadnought that is part of Martin's Road Series. The guitar is built with a solid Sitka Spruce top and Sapele back/sides. Sapele is tonally and visually reminiscent of Mahogany. So this is a classic combination of tonewoods. The entire guitar is discreetly styled with a beautiful rosette in Abalone pattern, black bindings, and a black pickguard. The body is finished with a beautiful satin finish and the neck has a soft and comfortable hand-rubbed finish.
A Fishman MX-T pickup system makes the D-10E ready for the stage. In addition, the system has a fantastic built-in tuner, discreetly installed in the soundhole. Incredibly convenient when tuning the guitar on stage.
