Ideas Machine
KeyStep mk2 is as much a generative idea machine as it is a controller. Its polyphonic step sequencer, 16-mode arpeggiator, pattern chaining, and creative tools such as Mutate work together in perfect synergy. Build a riff with the arpeggiator, convert it into a sequence, and then transform it. Use Mutate to hear new variations on the fly, try different octaves, adjust note lengths, add rests, overdub additional notes, and record bend and wheel automation—keeping ideas evolving instantly and continuously.

Hardware Connectivity

In addition to USB-C MIDI, MIDI DIN, sync I/O, and a pedal input, KeyStep mk2 features four CV outputs—Pitch, Gate, Mod 1, and the new Mod 2—now configurable for velocity, aftertouch, mod wheel, and more, enabling expressive and precise control of modular hardware systems.
